EXPLORERS

The Port Washington Fire Department Explorer Post 9110 is a program dedicated to promoting the growth and development of young adults interested in learning about the fire service. In addition to gaining hands-on knowledge of fire service skills through organized training, safety education, and supervised fire scene response, Explorers are also provided with the opportunity to develop leadership, social, and team-building skills.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPLORER POST 9110:

Must have completed the 8th grade

Must be at least 14 years of age

Must be able to attend at least two practices a month
